fleshy-pink-fish-out-of-water tongue got caught up in an unknown oozing substance that hardened up like cooled glass so naturally she tried to peel it off most lamentably however the thing about slimy moulds after they've gone hard is that they aren't big on budging so she had to apply more force which resulted eventually in her breaking off her tongue in three pieces and not being quite sure what to do with herself especially when the very next night she discovered the teeth she had been quite sure were soundly fashioned to the rest of her popped off like dentures presumably because they wanted a better mouth the poor thing crawled down the back of her own throat and disappeared for a while bless her heart
