Poem eleven

Modern Pictoralist

Focus. Click. Damn. Adjust aperture. Shift shutter speed. Got it.

Somehow in Monochrome from infrared

A full-spectrum candid perfectly premeditated

To catch a girl on a beach

But this was unexpected

A photograph painted in luminous medium

Bare feet in shorts

Taking what lies beyond the moment to task

Charging the white caps from a rain stained beach

Undeterred by relative insignificance

Alone and worthy in her own right

Except not

Because someone’s behind her with a camera

Unseen.
